Mitch Clasen recently joined the DSI team as our new iSeries software engineer. In this role, Mitch will design, develop and test software for our iSeries data storage division. Mitch comes to DSI with over twenty-five years of IBM i experience— let’s say he has long history with the AS400.
Prior to joining DSI, Mitch worked with Ryder Transportation Resources, Andersen Consulting, Accenture and IBM. Mitch studied decision sciences at the Florida International University, School of Business.
“Mitch has the experience and expertise to understand what we are trying to accomplish with our iSeries data storage solutions, he has jumped right into his new role with no hesitation,” said Ken Perez, VP of engineering and support.
Mitch grew up in Florida, but knew that one day he would call Colorado home after a visit. In his spare time, Mitch enjoys hiking, philosophy, Dallas Cowboys football (we actually knew this before we hired him), hanging with his two felines - Critter and Varmint, and exploring new interests.
We are happy to have Mitch Clasen join DSI and welcome him to our family.
